Let’s give the punk a cheer.

So now you’re standin’ in my shoes and I’m the also ran,
Don’t fret yourself you two bit punk, you’re welcome to the clan.
I wish I’d never met her, hey, I’m your biggest fan,
Cos’ all the time she’s kissin’ you, she’s makin’ up a plan.

Soon she’ll start complainin’, she hasn’t got a thing,
Before you know what’s hittin’ you, you’ll shell out for a ring.
She needs a whole new wardrobe, now stand up straight, don’t slouch,
Forgot her mothers birthday huh, you’re sleeping on the couch.

She’ll see you in the dog house, she’ll tie you to the sink,
Before you know what’s eatin’ you, she’ll take you to the brink.
She’ll soon spend all your money, come on to all your friends,
Then she’ll move her mamma in, and drive you round the bend.

Well boy I wanna thank you, for the day that you showed up,
I got me back my freedom, feel like I’ve won a cup.
Sure you’d like to sit with us, too busy shedding tears,
We’ll sip a drink on your behalf, let’s give the punk a cheer.
